Netbook Slide Hits Intel Atom Sales

Intel said its revenue from its Atom microprocessor and chipsets, which are aimed at highly-portable devices, fell 57% year-on-year to 167 million US dollars in the fourth quarter. Intel blamed the decline on lower demand for netbooks. source: Intel statement
