Netflix forecast that revenues in the fourth quarter of 2018 will rise almost 28% to 4.2 billion US dollars, following an increase of 34% in the third quarter. The company said it added seven million subscribers in the third quarter (two million more than it forecast) "driven by greater-than-expected acquisition globally, with strong growth broadly across all our markets including Asia." The average selling price of subscriptions was also up 8% year-on-year.
