China Unicom said that its revenue for the first nine months of 2009 was 114.93 billion Chinese yuan (16.81 billion US dollars) of which 51.79 billion came from mobile service revenues - equivalent to 80.6% of its mobile services revenues in the whole of 2008. Citing the merger with China Netcom, Unicom didn't give directly comparable figures for 2008.
