Intel said that revenues in its "Mobility Group" fell 12% year-on-year to 4.13 billion US dollars in the third quarter of 2009, dragged down by lower sales of microprocessors for laptops. The company added that revenue from its new Atom micro architecture, which is targeted at netbooks, rose 15% quarter-on-quarter to 415 million dollars.
