Smartphone maker HTC said that its revenues declined 10% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2009 to 34 billion Taiwanese dollars (1.06 billion US dollars). The Taiwanese company didn't give a reason for the decline, but analysts say average prices in the smartphone market have been falling as competition increases.
