Boosted by the rollout of 3G networks in China, ZTE said that its revenues rose 40% year-on-year in the first half of 2009 to 27.7 billion Chinese yuan (4.05 billion US dollars). The Group reported operating revenue of 14.95 billion yuan in China, representing year-on-year growth of 112%, while international sales climbed less than 1% to 12.76 billion yuan.
