HTC, a leading maker of Windows and Android-based smartphones, reported a 10% year-on-year rise in revenues to 38.2 billion Taiwanese dollars (1.16 US dollars) for the second quarter of 2009. The company said in late April it expected second-quarter revenues of between 37.5 billion and 38.5 billion Taiwanese dollars.
