Taiwan's largest phone company, Chunghwa Telecom, expects its revenue in the third quarter to fall 2% year-on-year to 45.85 billion Taiwanese dollars (1.39 billion US dollars), due to the economic slowdown, stiffer competition and tariff reductions imposed by the telecom regulator, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
